Sabine Vogler

Sabine Vogler is Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Policies and head of the Pharmacoeconomics Department at Gesundheit Österreich GmbH / Austrian National Public Health Institute. She graduated in commerce from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and holds a PhD in social and economic sciences from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. She is habilitated as Associate Professor for Economic Policy in line with the Italian National Scientific Habilitation regulation. Sabine Vogler is a senior health economist and pharmaceutical policy researcher with over 20 years of experience of surveying, comparing and evaluating pharmaceutical policies as well as measuring and analysing access, affordability and availability of medicines.

Nina Zimmermann

Nina Zimmermann is deputy head of the Pharmacoeconomics Department at Gesundheit Österreich GmbH / Austrian National Public Health Institute and coordinator of an international network of authorities from more than 50 countries (Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Information, PPRI). She has extensive experience in international, national and regional research of pharmaceutical systems and pharmaceutical policy analysis in the EU Member States and beyond. She has a master’s degree in Health Management from the University of Applied Science Krems, Austria and a master’s degree on ‘European studies – Management of EU projects’ at the University of Applied Science Eisenstadt, Austria.

Peter Schneider

Peter Schneider is a Health Expert at the Pharmacoeconomics Department at Gesundheit Österreich GmbH / Austrian National Public Health Institute. He studied Economics and International Development at the University of Vienna, Austria and completed the Erasmus Mundus Master Programme ‘Economics of International Trade and European Integration’ (EITEI), hosted by the Staffordshire University, UK, the University of Antwerp, Belgium, and the University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic. He has been coordinating several projects in the field of pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement policy analysis for national or international decision-makers and is author/co-author of publications in this field, e.g. ‘Study on cross-Country Coordination in the field of Pharmaceutical Product Pricing’ or ‘Medicine Price Surveys, Analyses and Comparisons’.

Maximilian Salcher-Konrad

Maximilian Salcher-Konrad is a Health Expert at the Pharmacoeconomics Department at Gesundheit Österreich GmbH / Austrian National Public Health Institute. He holds an MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a BSc in Economics from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). He has a track record of leading and publishing original studies, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, including on methodological aspects of comparative effectiveness research and evidence generation for market access of new pharmaceuticals.
